Life Rant

So there are hella times when we just have customers that are just out there. I had one today. He wanted me to do 90 min in the pitch black dark with little to no lotion with no elbow. He actually said he loved a lot of lotion on his feet. He moaned the whole time…then after he got another 90 min session with my coworker and then after he finished that he wanted another!

Normal people would think he is a creep. The first thing in my mind was that he was an alien like in Doctor Who who recharges his battery with massages and he came in 3 times cuz its 3 different aliens who use the same skin. I’m sure he wanted the lights off cuz maybe you can tell its not the same guy when you go in the room. If you use elbow maybe his skin would come off. O_O I need me a sonic screwdriver for protection

Complainers vs Do-ers

A lot of therapists at work love to complain. Oh there’s no towels. Oh there’s no face rests. Oh there’s no paper towels in the dispenser. Oh where’s my clients chart. Oh there’s no soap. They complain about the front desk not doing shit. But while they complain and complain all the things could have been done already if they did it themselves instead of bitching to the front desk. Meh I don’t get it

Letter To My Clients

Dear clients if you don’t want me to beat you up, please don’t ask for deep pressure. I ask you at the beginning of the massage if you’d like more or less pressure for a reason. I even tell you that we can easily adjust later in the massage, all you have to do is ask. I customize everything to you desires while still meeting your needs. Otherwise I will beat you up. Especially if you want “pressure to the point where you almost cry” so stop complaining.

Sincerely,
Your very amused but slightly annoyed massage therapist

“A man’s suffering is similar to the behavior of gas. If a certain quantity of gas is pumped into an empty chamber, it will fill the chamber completely and evenly, no matter how big the chamber. Thus suffering completely fills the human soul and conscious mind, no matter whether the suffering is great or little. Therefore the “size” of human suffering is absolutely relative.” — Vikter Frankl

“Love goes very far beyond the physical person of the beloved. It finds its deepest meaning in his spiritual being, his inner self. Whether or not he is actually present, whether or not he is still alive at all, ceases somehow to be of importance.” — Viktor Frankl
